Stone-born Men — Egypt
In Egypt, some men seem to have been born from stone.
Silent guardians of millennia-old temples, their silhouettes blend into the columns and ruins of an eternal civilization.
Through these portraits, I seek to capture the encounter between man and stone, between the memory of the pharaohs and life today. Men proud of their history, who seem to carry the soul of Egypt within them.
As if time itself had sculpted them, too.
