Grégory Herpe's memory work on Belfast is quite extraordinary!

Because how to make this heavy atmosphere which reigns in this city emblematic of a religious conflict and which today seems

to be part of the DNA of all its inhabitants.

We can see how much the photographer has invested himself in this martyred city where every stone, every facade, every street,

seems to claim revenge. The price of blood is the gradual descent into darkness.

Gregory Herpe's art plunges us into it thanks to its improbable perspectives and its sense of tragedy.

Above all, he has been able to detect in the people of Belfast this desire not to forget...
