Today, I was invited to the Uzbekistan-France Forum at the Intercontinental Paris - Le Grand hotel for fascinating discussions about this magnificent Central Asian country.
This forum, initiated by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, lived up to all expectations.
The video presentation was stunning, offering a glimpse of the country's natural, architectural, and cultural wonders (deserts, nature reserves, clean technologies, etc.).
We also had the pleasure of listening to speeches by Her Excellency Aurélia Bouchez, Ambassador of France to Uzbekistan, and Mr. Umid Shadiev, Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who provided a very positive overview of tourism and the country's new infrastructure.
The event's entertainment was also a great success, featuring highly talented traditional dancers and musicians, along with a particularly delicious traditional lunch.
I was already eager to visit Uzbekistan, but now I hope to travel there soon, thanks to the new connections made this morning!
And then, for a change, I also had the honor of being interviewed by Uzbek television for the Uzbek Report news program, where I shared my thoughts on the country and spoke about my projects there.
A big thank you to my friend Aijamal Aitymbetova from UNESCO for the invitation!
