It has been a few years since I returned to the marvellous Abbey of Lagrasse, in the Aude (France).
A Benedictine monastery of the 8th century, having received the protection of Charlemagne in 779, it is today inhabited by monks
A true oasis of serenity, where Gregorian chants rhythm every day.
I strongly advise you to visit them!
They are kindness itself.
And all around, you will be charmed by the village of Lagrasse, classified "one of the most beautiful in France"...
