Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
An elephant surrounded by skyscrapers, seemingly standing in the heart of the city.
A play of perspective brings two worlds together: the ancient, untamed world of wildlife and the relentless expansion of the modern city.
Yet this elephant lives in a zoo, confined within an urban landscape that seems to swallow it whole. The contrast is striking, almost surreal. It makes me wonder how much space we leave for the wild in a world increasingly shaped by concrete and glass.
Through photography, I like to play with perspectives, but also to raise questions.
What place do we give these magnificent animals in our human world? And what will remain of their natural habitat if our cities continue to expand at the expense of nature?
