Siamese crocodiles are only active from sunset and at night.
This is the best time to admire them.
On the face of it, they are not very dangerous; they do not attack and only eat fish.
The breeding programmes in Cambodia are a success. But in this country, the reduction of many populations seems irreversible.
The main threats are hunting and the destruction of its natural habitat, which is being converted to agriculture.
But the greatest danger to the Siamese crocodile is trafficking to supply Chinese restaurants...
