In this work, I captured the essence of stillness and transience in black and white, focusing the eye on a nun feeding birds by the Baltic Sea. The movements of the seagulls and egrets and their interaction with this spiritual woman and the bits of bread she throws at them in the sky express a bold serenity against the vast open landscape and dramatic sky. This moment of peace and simplicity against a hectic world invites reflection and will bring inner peace to any space.
