Kilimanjaro National Park, Tanzania

Rhinos are great lovers, even if it doesn't last long.

They are lonely animals and the female rhino is not easily approached.

Once they have formed a couple, they stay together for a short while, but rarely for much longer. The pair then travel and eat together.

Sometimes they even rest against each other, rubbing their horns together.

You can have a thick shell, a cuirass, and still have a gentle heart.

Photo published in the Musée de St-Cyprien exhibition catalogue following the exhibition ‘L'Odyssée de Grégory Herpe’, a retrospective of my work, from March to June 2017.
