Figueras, Spain
A small commercial street full of contrasts, where a Breton crêperie, a Spanish tapas restaurant, and a sex shop line up side by side.A crêpe, gazpacho, and a healthy dose of sex for dessert? That’s Catalan life!
Between the crêperie and the restaurant, there’s a custom-painted Austin Mini, adding a quirky and funny touch to the scene.
Figueras, or Figueres, is a town in northern Catalonia, Spain, known for hosting the Salvador Dalí Museum and Europe’s largest fortress, the Sant Ferran Castle.
This photo was featured in Gregory Herpe’s photobook Catalonia (2015), with a foreword by H.R.H. Prince Michael of Yugoslavia.
