Masaï Mara, Kenya.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, straight out of Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Two zebras side by side, seemingly caught in an endless conversation, sharing a secret we will never know. Like the two courtiers in the play, they seem to exist somewhere between the absurd and the tragic, between the comedy of life and the inevitability of fate.
Two striped silhouettes on the African stage, waiting for their lines.
