With a precise, controlled movement, the surgeon fits the prosthetic head into this artificial socket. Together, the two components form a new joint designed to restore smooth, stable movement. This is a crucial stage of the operation: the hip is almost ready to function again, allowing the patient to walk and regain their independence.
