Her little daughter follows her, eating a few pieces of fruit at each stop in her flower-bedecked outfit.
Lotus roots are rich in vitamin C and popular in Asian cuisine. It has a crunchy texture and a taste similar to coconut. When cut, the slice is dotted with several geometric holes.
