The Basilica of Santa Maria de la Mar is located in Barcelona, Catalonia, in the Ribera district. This minor church is popularly known as the Cathedral of the Sea.
The building plays a central role in the novel ‘The Cathedral of the Sea’ by Spanish lawyer and writer Ildefonso Falcones.
And then the clouds in the sky, which I always marvel at.
For me, there's nothing like a sky full of clouds; I see poetry in them, like when, as children, we tried to recognise in them the shapes of animals, objects or mythological characters...
