Perpignan, France
In the gypsy quarter of Perpignan, in the south of France, near the Spanish border, I was taking some photos when this car approached and stopped in front of me.
I was very surprised to see the age of the occupants of this vehicle, and in particular the driver! They were all between 9 and 13 years old.
Gypsy kids from the neighbourhood, phones ringing in their ears. The driver asked me what I was doing there.
"Are you taking photos? Go on then! Take a photo of us!"
And that's how this photo came about.
