Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Two giraffes rise above the urban landscape of the city's zoo, their impossibly long necks reaching towards the sky, surrounded by a forest of concrete and glass.

They seem to stand among the skyscrapers, as if nature had found a way to blend into the heart of the metropolis.

There is something almost surreal about this encounter between two worlds.

The giraffes, with their elegant silhouettes and extraordinary proportions, seem to challenge the geometry of the modern city.

I am fascinated by this contrast, by the way photography can transform reality and make us look at familiar things differently.

Yet the image also raises a question: in a world where cities continue to expand, what place do we leave for wildlife?

And how can we protect these magnificent creatures and their natural habitats beyond the walls of a zoo?
