I found three old Lada taxis parked in the desert.
Sand stretched out before me, mountains loomed in the distance, and the sun beat down relentlessly.
In July 2019, I traveled to Azerbaijan to capture a series of photographs, from the capital, Baku, to the rugged Caucasus Mountains.
The strange atmosphere of this desert, with its vintage cars, felt like something out of a Twilight Zone episode or a David Lynch film—surreal and cinematic.
