At former journalist Tina Kieffer's NGO in Cambodia, little girls who have suffered are given an education and led towards a better life.
They are given a smile and a child's soul.This lunchtime, it's siesta time for the youngest children, all lying together like a box of sardines.
 
The reportage from which this photo is taken won 3 awards at the IPA (International Photography Awards), categories Social Cause, Children, and Portraits, New-York, USA, 2016, and received the award for Best Documentary Photo at Boundless Pictures in 2024, UK.
And published in the book ‘L'Odyssée de Grégory Herpe’.
I travelled to Cambodia at the invitation of French journalist Tina Kieffer to do a black and white report on her NGO ‘Toutes à l'école’.
