Drag Queens are very hipe. The audience loves their extravagance & humor, their sex appeal and their laughter.
But what's behind the thick layer of make-up?
Who is hiding behind the scenes when is falls on stage?
I decided to meet them, all over Europe, and photograph their souls, their wounds, the scars of their history.
First in Amsterdam, then in Helsinki, Paris, Budapest, Liverpool, Baku, Bucharest, and Brussels.

What's next? I would go to Berlin, Barcelona, Tallinn, Copenhagen, London, Athens!
They all have a story to tell me...
