Paris….Running feet on the water…

Back to Paris is always for me a flood of emotions, and a permanent race.

One has only to Paris as I makes appointments, rewarding, full of promise …

Walking around Paris is always an incredible inspiration for me.

This time, between two appointments, I shoot in St-Michel, around Notre Dame, Bastille, or to Beaubourg …

This city has a thousand faces,  thousand atmospheres, and never disappoint me …

Here is a picture of a boy running in the fountain Igor Stravinsky created by Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle, so original with its sixteen animated sculptures referring to the works of the composer: The Firebird, The Elephant, Sergeant, The Love, Life, Death … The black and metallic machinery contrast with the round and colorful shapes.

It was almost 40 ° to the sun and walkers envied the boldness of this young man, smiling, feet in water.

The fountain is situated on a underground building ( IRCAM : research institute in musical acoustics) …

This place in the heart of the Marais district, is an ancient streets dedicated to prostitution in the Middle Ages …
